Boiler Feed Water Monitoring
ODS builds complete on-line analyser systems for monitoring the water quality of boiler feed water.
The purity of boiler feed water of power plants and cogenerators is of great importance. The water quality should be optimised as nowadays boilers are being operated at a much higher operating pressure.
Analyser systems are carefully engineered to achieve maximum performance. Our goal is to optimise system performance such as:
- Total response time; time from sample take off till the analytical result;
- Low memory effects; time till the system has stabilised after a contamination peak;
- High efficiency; being able to measure all (organic) components in the sample composition for example via the thermal oxidation principle;
- Low carry over effects; making it possible to use one analyser for several streams. Multi stream systems are available.
- A very low blind value; being able to measure in the low ppb range. We select the correct analyser technique making it possible to measuring very low ppb values (microgram/litre).
- Calibration and validation features.
